RECYCLING & MATERIALS
In order to be able to offer a wide range of drinking bottles in all shapes and sizes, SIGG uses different materials to meet individual customer needs. All materials used are BPA-free. Each product is thoroughly tested before sale, regardless of the production location. Our products are also continuously checked by independent laboratories for compliance with standards and regulations.
ALUMINUM
The aluminum Water Bottles from SIGG are made from a single piece of high-quality aluminum. The particularly light metal is considered almost indestructible. The inner coating is resistant to fruit acids, tasteless and free from harmful substances. All aluminum Water Bottles are manufactured in our own production facility in Frauenfeld and are recyclable.

18/8 STAINLESS STEEL
SIGG uses high-quality stainless steel for all vacuum-insulated bottles and the Explorer bottles. 18/8 stainless steel is shatterproof and represents timeless elegance. The drinking bottles made of this material also offer optimal hygienic conditions and always remain odorless. After the stainless steel bottle has been a reliable companion for many years, it can finally be completely recycled.
GLASS
Glass bottles are good for you and the environment. The material is food-safe, does not absorb odors, tastes or discoloration and is free of harmful substances. Our Star, Dream and Hot&Cold glass drinking bottles are made of heat-resistant borosilicate glass. The Stella bottles are made from a glass melt of sand, soda and other hand-picked components. The inside of the lid is made of stainless steel, so the contents only come into contact with glass and stainless steel. Glass drinking bottles ensure a pleasant drinking experience and are fully recyclable.
TRITAN
The patented plastic Tritan™ is completely free of harmful substances such as estrogen-active substances and phthalates. The material looks like glass, but is as light as a feather, shatterproof, tasteless and odorless, and dishwasher safe up to 90°C. Like all our other materials, Tritan™ is also recyclable.
POLYPROPYLENE
Polypropylene is a very strong and resilient plastic that is used for VIVA and Hero drinking bottles. The high-quality and reusable drinking bottles made of transparent polypropylene are recyclable and free of harmful substances.
