KULT DESIGN

SIGG produces products that reflect the spirit of the times and at the same time set standards themselves. The unmistakable design of the SIGG bottles has long since achieved cult status. This is confirmed by the Museum of Modern Art in New York, which has two SIGG bottles in its permanent exhibition.

The design team in Switzerland is constantly developing new products, paying attention to the constantly changing needs of customers and new trends. The design process is divided into five phases. It begins with extensive research, particularly on two key questions: What are the customer's needs? What features would the new product need to have to meet these needs?

Once the answers to these questions have been found, the idea phase begins. This is where the first sketches and drafts of the new product are created. In the next step - the conception phase - the goals are defined so that product development can then begin. Various solutions are developed and tested.

Once the decision has been made for a product, it goes into implementation, i.e. into the planning phase. And because SIGG sets the highest standards for design and quality, every product is tested by independent laboratories to ensure it complies with all standards and regulations before it goes on sale. For this reason, the journey of a product from the initial idea to the first sale can take 18 months.
