The Traveller MyPlanet™ bottle is the first "ClimatePartner" certified drinking bottle in the SIGG family. But what does "ClimatePartner Certified" actually mean? At SIGG, we have calculated the carbon emissions from the production of our drinking bottles, also known as the carbon footprint. The carbon footprint of our drinking bottles made of recycled aluminum is already 54% lower than that of conventional, single-walled stainless steel drinking bottles and after just the 5th use of the drinking bottles, they have a better carbon footprint than PET bottles. But even if we do our utmost to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible: Unfortunately, not all carbon emissions can be avoided during production. That's why we at SIGG have decided to offset all unavoidable emissions in the production of our Traveller MyPlanet™ drinking bottle by supporting climate protection projects. Today - for tomorrow.

The zero-waste drinking bottle made from 100% recycled aluminum

Collect, recycle, reprocess, produce - these are the keywords of our zero-waste drinking bottle. The recycled aluminum used to manufacture our zero-waste bottles comes from Europe and is known for its durability and low loss of quality during the recycling process. In the next step of the zero-waste water bottle manufacturing process, all parts that cannot be recycled are sorted out and the recycled aluminum is melted down to be reprocessed for the Traveller MyPlanet™ bottles. In the final step, the bottle body is produced as well as the lid or 'top', which is made from renewable materials such as cellulose, reducing the use of fossil resources. Like all our aluminum bottles, our Traveller MyPlanet™ zero-waste drinking bottle is very light and robust, so it can be used for many years. Our reusable zero-waste bottle made from 100% recycled aluminum combines durability, design and suitability for everyday use with an excellent environmental footprint. Our goal is for all our aluminum drinking bottles to be made from 100% recycled aluminum by 2023.

Of course, the zero-waste drinking bottles from SIGG are not only sustainable, but also free from harmful substances such as oestrogen-active substances, bisphenol A (BPA), bisphenol F, bisphenol S and polycarbonates.
