Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Are SIGG children's water bottles BPA-free?
All SIGG water bottles are BPA-free. We test all materials and components of our bottles before they go into production, and we also conduct additional tests at third-party laboratories before the products receive market approval.
2. Are SIGG water bottles safe?
Absolutely. Since 1908, we have relied on the best and safest materials to manufacture our products. At SIGG, we conduct very rigorous safety tests to ensure the highest quality of our products. We know that safety is our customers’ top priority. That is why we focus all our efforts on this aspect before launching a product.
3. Are SIGG children's water bottles leak-proof?
Yes. When used properly, our bottles are leak-proof. Make sure the seals are properly in place and that there are no foreign objects in the cap area.
4. How do I find the right replacement part for my SIGG bottle?
You can find the right replacement parts for your bottle here: Replacement Parts and Accessories
5. Hand wash or dishwasher?
In general, we recommend not washing SIGG water bottles in the dishwasher. Harsh detergents used in dishwashers can damage the bottle’s finish and, in the case of aluminum bottles, the inner coating. Due to the narrow opening of the classic SIGG water bottle, dishwashers do not produce good cleaning results anyway. To ensure your SIGG water bottles last a long time, you should wash them by hand regularly. After each use, rinse the bottle and its lid with hot water. Leave the lid open while drying and when storing.
